Mysterious Radio Signal Getting Received From Proxima Centauri

 The strange radio signal is coming from our nearest star system Proxima Centauri. Scientists are trying to find a reason for their sending.

If we see Proxima Centauri from the earth in the naked eye it emits too dim light. Proxima Centauri is about 4.2 light-years far from earth. Scientists have confirmed the signal transmission from our nearest star.

Transmission of radio signal shows the existence of advanced extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI).

The scientists behind the discovery caution there is still much work to be done and told. “It has some particular properties that caused it to pass many of our checks, and we cannot yet explain it,” says Andrew Siemion from the University of California, Berkeley.

The radio signal occupies a very narrow band of the radio spectrum that is of 982 megahertz, this transmission bereft from human-made satellites and spacecraft.

The discovery was made using sixty-four mates radio telescope at Parkes Observatory in Australia.
