PM Narendra Modi Addresses Farmers, Releases Rs 18,000 Crore Instalment Under PM-Kisan

In the biggest outreach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address farmers across states today and release the next batch of financial aid ₹18,000 crores from the PM-Kisan scheme.
The PM’s address with the farmers is a part of its nationwide outreach to the farmers on the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Under the PM-Kisan Scheme, a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to the eligible beneficiary farmers, payable in three equal four-monthly instalments of Rs 2,000 each.
Amidst the ongoing farm protests, the PM also interacted with farmers from seven states during the event via video conferencing.
Several central ministers, MPs, MLAs, and BJP office bearers attended the event from their constituencies while others went among the electorate to listen to PM's interaction with farmers.
