Predator In Indian Sky: Indian Navy Inducts Two American Predator Drone, On Lease.
With growing tension in the Ladakh region with China, India inducts two American Predator Drone on Lease.
India Navy inducted two drones from an American Firm which will be also handling service and maintenance of Drone. All thou the American company maintain the drone maintenance they do not work with the joystick Predator drone. The complete operation will be under the control of the Indian Navy command.
As of now Predator drone's are deployed in the Indian Ocean region to train Navy personal in Predator Operation. Soon it will be shifted to Tension region of Ladakh Indian - China border.
American Drone was inducted under the emergency procurement of Indian Government Defence Ministry given to Navy.
The incredible performance of this drone such as its endurance of about 30 hours which gives enough time to hide from enemy defence and strike enemy defence when it will be restoring itself.
India is planning to acquire 18 more such drones after checking its operational capability sources said.
Defence Expert said it was the right decision taken from India to acquire these Drone's to counter china's aggression. Due to lease cost will be less and maintenance will also lie under the supervision company, but it will be serving the Indian Navy.
The American company staff will be helping the Indian Navy in technical and maintenance work of Drone but does not involve in Data gathered by Indian Navy through these Drone.
