Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern over the recent violence at Wistron iPhone factory in Kolar,".
Now the report has emerged from Wistron on Saturday on regards to the violence. Wistron has admitted it had committed the mistake and even fired the vice-president of its India operations.
In an official statement from Wistron, it has said "This is a new facility and we recognize that we made mistakes as we expanded. Some of the processes we put in place to manage labour agencies and payments need to be strengthened and upgraded. We are taking immediate action to correct this, including disciplinary action. We are removing the Vice President who oversees our business in India,".
Wistron also has admitted that salary had not been given to workers. Company has around 1500 permanent employees and 8500 contract workers.
Wistron had initially had reported ₹437 crores that included ₹412 crores of looting. Now after proper estimation, it is said that is about a total of ₹ 52 crores is losses found.
Center had sought a report from the state government and state government has given report.
- Manpower Increased from 5000 to 9833 in a few months.

- Working hours changed from 8 hours shift to 12-hour shift without properly telling workers and paying extra money.
